Alabama State Road Race – Update

It was a very exciting race, and it came down to an exciting three-up sprint which I led out, head down, 40mph (slight downhill) thinking that I had the jump to hold it to the line – but Mike Olheiser and Matt Winstead came around with less than 50 meters to go. That meant third place (bronze medal) for me. I am definitely happy with the result. Darryl Seelhorst was riding strong for his first P/1/2 race. More details (and power/hr data) to come tomorrow!
