Ripon TT (aka “rest day”) – Tour of America’s Dairyland – Day 7

Instead of the time trial, I opted for a four hour easy paced ride in search of hills along the Ice Age trail. It was a beautiful ride … check out the panoramic view I stitched together from photos I took at the top of the lookout tower on Lapham Peak, and check out the pictures in the gallery below.

One more note about yesterday’s Schlitz Park criterium … I forgot to mention the dramatic temperature drop during the middle of the race. You could see clouds and fog moving in, and the temperature dropped 10 degrees over a span of 30 minutes with the temperature bottoming out at 55 degF here on the first day of summer in Wisconsin! Here is the temperature graph from the race yesterday:

Crazy windy today Josiah up to bat at today's practice scrimmage against the moms. Ride #2 on a three ride today - next ride will be for the baseball Easter egg hunt with Josiah.
