I was really surprised when I saw Adam ahead of you on the way back, but I figured you would catch him on the climb. Randy Kerr and I were talking to Adam afterward and he said that he was trying to stay with you up the KOM, but was going too deep. He said he had a little talk with himself and either needed to go for the KOM or go for the win and since it didn’t look like he was going to get the KOM he backed off until he got to the top.
