Long ride tip #1 – coffee/hot cocoa at gas station to warm up. It rained and misted on me on the top of Sassafras with an air temp in the upper 30s … then once I crossed the eastern contiental divide it rained steadily all the way into Rosman. I was absolutely freezing when I made it to the gas station.
