Dinner at our favorite Clemson mexican restaurant. My iphone battery died not too long after the second gas station stop (about 120 miles into the ride) so I couldn't get any more pictures until I made it back (in the dark) and went out for dinner with the family.

Dinner at our favorite Clemson mexican restaurant. My iphone battery died not too long after the second gas station stop (about 120 miles into the ride) so I couldn’t get any more pictures until I made it back (in the dark) and went out for dinner with the family.

Second rest stop of the day - italian gas station cappacino and pizza hot pockets. I only stopped twice on this ride, but I made the most of both stops. I was in the first gas station for probably 20 minutes trying to warm up with coffee. I was in this second gas station for only a few minutes as I scarfed down 600 calories worth of pizza hot pockets and then poured the cappacino into an empty 24 oz gatorade bottle I put in my back pocket.
