Winter Gridlock 2014 – a pictoral timeline » Tues, 1/28 @ 2:13PM – I-65 intersection at US Hwy 31 and Columbiana

Tues, 1/28 @ 2:13PM - I-65 intersection at US Hwy 31 and Columbiana. Having made it all the way down Hwy 31 to the I-65 intersection, I encounter another scene of gridlocked traffic. To advance from this spot to Lorna, I have to ride the cement median all the way past the bridge. You can see in this pic that some cars have tried that as well.

Saw this hawk this morning hovering in the crazy updraft coming up Hwy 31 while I was waiting at the Hwy 31 / Shades Crest light. I really needed this today to be reminded that it is possible to be and stay graceful in the midst of all the chaos around us everywhere. I guess I will have to start wearing long finger gloves at some point this fall. Very long day today, a bunch of disrespectful, selfish drivers didn't help make a bad day any better.
